Monday, August 20, 2007 Damn, i slept at 10 just now and suddenly woke up at 1 and now i can't sleep.Gona talk about the new baby i just acquired 2 weeks back, the Alessandro MS2i. With a price tag of $400++, you expect great sound from it and yes, it does deliver great sound! :D The clarity, the soundstage (separation of instruments) and the ohh i love this the most, when you close your eyes, you just feel you are standing there, in a concert listening to the singer singing. This 'live' experience and the clarity of the vocals were the 2 main reasons i bought this pair of open headphones. My last, how would you say, 'audiophile' one in fact, until i sell one of them off or it spoils. The only down side is, i realise i don't like open headphones as they leak the sound of the fan in and now, i realise i prefer closed cans. Prefer to just be in my own world with just my music. Oh well, i wanted 1 closed can and another open one. Being an open can, i can use bring it to work in the future! Thought of bringing it to camp but can't risk it being stolen. Bringing an iPod there is already dangerous lol. Another downside to me is, these are very serious cans. Serious cans as in they are not fun sounding. How would i describe fun sounding? I don't know LOL. Its just that, upon putting this headphones on, you just can't do anything but listen to them. As if i do anything else, i just don't get to enjoy it. Oh my, that sounds like i don't like them. Well, just a lil as now i realise that i prefer closed headphones. Well, i'll stick with this and my other pair till one dies or something!
