Sunday, December 23, 2007 First visit to Timbre last week! Sam, Ken and Rach!  The only non-alcoholic drink on the table, Red Bull Punch. You've gotta try it, its quite hmm, exotic i would say.  Sam's Erdinger  Rach's Heineken.  Ken actually ordered 2 drinks at a go. Pictured is i think Corona and not pictured is Tequila Sunrise. Nice place to chill! Only thing the high seats didn't have back rests. Anyway, had a great day with my dear yesterday. Went down to Vivo and then proceeded to dinner at Pier Eleven. Pictures on that day soon to come! What i really wanna talk about is a person i met in Vivo. His name is Daren. Daren Lauchengco. I think he's Philipino but born in Singapore? He's an artist. His work are morbid, somewhat dark but humorous too. After reading about his background at the stall he was at, i know why. I would say that his work is inspired by his condition and i cannot say i fully, but only partly understand what he is going through or has gone through. We talked for a short while and i could really feel for him. Learnt that there was something or a community called the Silver Ribbon. Its a non-profit organisation which deals with people who are struggling with mental illness/disorders. Will talk more about it when i get more info. Bought 3 of his works in the end. Wanted to buy more but didn't have enough money. Damm!
