So.. Let's do a simple calculation of the wish lists.

DMC 4 - $90
Rock Band - $380
Asus EEEpc - $598
Apple Macbook - $1800
Kohjinsha UMPC - $1100
Sennheiser HD650 - $620
Audio Technica SQ5 - $120

All prices above are before discounts and are first hand..

So let's say i go for the cheapest option which is the Asus EEEpc combo, it would cost me.. $1808!
If i go for the mid range combo which is the Kohjinsha, it would cost me.. $2310!

And.. the high range combo which is of course the Oh-So-Chio Apple Macbook, it would cost me.. $3010.. !#$@$%#@%#% *INSERT VULGARITY OF YOUR CHOICE HERE* @$#@%@

OR.. The super duper high air combo + fatality + whatever finishing move you know consisting of the Asus EEEpc PLUS the Macbook, it would cost me.. $3608! Hm not that much compared with the high range combo though..

I had a budget of 2k for my whole laptop.. With the cheapest option, i can get more than a laptop! Many more things than a laptop. 2 games and 2 freaking headphones and with spare change for the taxi ride back man!

Hmm, come to think of it, i haven't tried out the Kohjinsha.. Will have to test it out first..

Of course, i can put the rest all on hold and just get the Macbook first..

Hmm decisions decisions.. People like me might do 2 things.. 1) Everything don't buy! 2) Everything just buy!

Ok.. You can see that i'm freaking bored as i just blogged 3 times in a day about random stuff.. But, i'm feeling great except for a lil bit of giddyness after playing Resistance: Fall of Man. Its a first person shooter and i remember during my secondary school days, we could spend hours on end playing Counterstrike and not feel anything.. Wah, now? Just going into half an hour of this game and i will giddy.. Pfftt weak..

Some updates in the portable headphone amp scene..

All these listed are also coupled with USB DACs. So its a portable amp and DAC! Wonderful huh

#1 - The budget Go Vibe Petite.

#2 - The famous RSA's The Predator! Cost i think about $900?

#3 - Headamp Pico.

First things first, the 1st 2 pictures are from the Jaben forum and both amps are available there. Do drop over to their shop and have a listen!

I only had the opportunity to try out the Go Vibe Petite and for its price, i say its a good buy. Good starter amp and DAC combo.

Of all 3, i would pick the Pico based on its looks. Had the chance to see one LIVE from a guy. His fiance (did i spell that correctly?) bought it for him. Looks damm sleek and nice. Much much nicer than a red Hornet.

Thankfully, i'm in NO need of a portable amp in my rig. Just the touch and the UM1 will do. If not, i'll be begging or singing in the streets with people booing me off. =D

What's up with me man.

I'm so unmotivated to do things. The things i actually wana do. Many new console games i haven't touched. Albums i haven't listened to. Pictures i want to take.

I'm feeling stressed about something, but i don't know what.

Everything seems to be going fine.. ORDing in exactly 2 weeks time. Found a school which has a course i like and am interested in. People genuinely concerned about me.

So what's exactly up?

I seriously don't know.

Getting more paranoid and edgy about stuff.

I hurt the people around me that i don't want to.

I don't mean it, but i just can't control it.

Got a friend who makes seals as his hobby. Got him to make one for me just for keepsakes. Didn't want the traditional chinese name kind so got him to carve an old english font 'D' for me.

Honestly, i'm damm bored now. Actually did quite a few things today like bring Rocky to cut his nails, got myself a hair cut and changed my fish water.. Still, i would have preferred to be out walking around, window shopping or best, selling something off. Thought i could get rid of my Eye of Judgement and Marvel Ultimate Alliance this evening, but to no avail..

Arghh still no buyer for the makeup? Com'on guys! Get this gift for your gf, i know V day's over but, still isn't it niceeeeeeee? Girls! Its a bargain right? This make up set thingy? Wahah okok just kidding. I know nuts about makeup and cosmetics and stuff.

Dilemma.. Dilemma.. Did i even spell that correctly?

I'm stuck in between..

Now, the Asus EEE pc only costs about $600 with of course the downside of only a 4GB Solid State Disk, a 512MB ram which is upgradable to 2GB, runs on a Linux OS which can be changed to Windows XP. The upside of it is, its small, freaking small for a lappy. Its only 0.92kg and its considered cheap compared to other lappys!

While, the oh so chio Apple Macbook costs $1788. Has a 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 1GB of RAM which i think can be upgraded right? A 80GB Harddrive and runs on the oh so chio Leopard OS. The only few downsides of it i can think of is that its bigger, more expensive than the EEE, if i want the black colour one, i would have to fork out another $700 more albeit better specs.

Hmm, as i was talking to Ken, i might wana move my whole PC to the living room and just use a lappy in the room which allows me to use my computer desk as a study one too. If you've seen my desk, i have no space at all to put books or whatsoever. Another option i considered was to buy a bluetooth keyboard and mouse, so when i wana study, i have to just shift the keyboard away and TADA! Study study!

Anyways, i guess i would have a budget of about 2k when i want to get a lappy which probably will be 3 - 6 months time? So.. I mainly want to use it for school actually, doing Powerpoint presentations, Word documents and excel spreadsheet. To cut short, Office related stuff. I also want to be able to surf wirelessly with the lappy, either outside or on the comfort of my bed. If the EEE pc is capable of it, i don't see a need in getting another 'full-fledged' PC.

So yea, advice advice from you all will be greatly appreciated!
