Time to sleep..
Hmm, have i only changed or is it the both of us? Trying to recall something Sam once told me, its something about knowing a person for long and taking the person for granted. I can't remember exactly what it is.. I'm definitely guilty of that.. Sometimes, we only realise it when something drastic happens or when the person tells you personally. Sometimes, its too late. But, sometimes, it further improves the relationship as i believe criticism improves a person.
Ok, i've been spending like water.. Its like once i stop i stop for awhile, but once i start, oh man.. It just goes on...
Pride? One of the reasons why one cannot take criticism? We can take criticisms positively from outsiders but from one close to us? Its like a knife through the heart. Why? Maybe because outsiders are just, outsiders. While, those close to us know us better and speaks of the truth.. Maybe thats why it hurts more.. But, sometimes, people judge wrongly. They don't know the full circumstance of what one's going through. Like what Shen told me, we're not in their shoes, we can't judge. Its not a matter of religion here, i think its logical. Why does someone go and take drugs, go to jail, get out and start again? Stress? Bad company? Family and relationship problems? After so many months inside, i'm sure the addictive part is gone. We are not in their shoes to judge, we can only give advice and point in the direction you think best.. What's best for you might not be the best for others. You tell the person to quit, go cold turkey. But it might be hell for them without support. I think what we need at times is more support than advice and criticism. Like they say, 2 heads are better than one.
So.. Everyone has a right to their own opinion. Its only about how you state them. I guess the word here is being sensitive and tactful. Catch the right time too.
