This post comes a day late, but like they say, better late than never!

20th May 2011 marks a year and a half in my relationship with Karen.

It has been a journey with a few highs as well as a number of lows. We shared plenty of laughter and also wiped countless tears off each others cheeks. At the end of everything, what mattered was that we emerged stronger in our relationship and understood each other at a deeper level.

I want to thank you B, for the patience that you've shown me in our relationship. For forgiving me during the times i messed up and for continuing to shower me with your love and care.

As before, i seek your forgiveness for the times that i have hurt you. To wish that i could undo the hurt you've gone through is just that, wishful thinking. What i can do however is to try my very best to consciously not cause you pain but to be a source of happiness and encouragement for you as much as possible. There will inevitably be times that i will cause you pain and i hope that you will like before, be able to say, "Its ok, try not to do it again."

I could have probably done a much better job typing this post after having enough sleep and i apologize if it is in anyway not up to standard. I only wanted you to be able to see this post when you wake up later.

I know this doesn't come as often but i love you B, more than the way i usually express myself or rather, my lack of expression.

As we continue to journey as a couple, let's not forget the role that God has played in our relationship and continue to place Him in the center of our relationship as much as possible.

Can't wait for our belated celebration!

I promised myself a blog post once my exam ends and here it is!

Comparing with what i wrote in my previous blog post, i didn't feel the same exhilaration when i came out of the exam hall after my last paper. What i felt was however immense, immense joy. So much so that i felt like crying the moment i stepped out of the hall earlier than the time we had to finish it.

I was thinking, it's done. It's done! My fucking foundation is done! Bye bye Geography! Bye bye Maths! Bye bye English (not)Fun-damentals!

I now have a long break of 5 plus months looking at me, here's some big and small things that i would like to see myself check off once the school reopens!

Thank you B and Lobohias for journeying with me through the past 8 months. Every one of you have made it easier through those gruelling 9am - 4pm days and have made the weekend which i always looked forward to even more fun and happening.

I have another 3 years in this school for my degree program and i probably won't have such a long break for a long time.

So what the hell, i'm gona just enjoy myself till i'm sick of it and go back to school craving for studies whaha!

I hereby say, a big F*ck Off to exams.

For awhile, at least.

I've never felt this relieved from exams.

Maybe because in my diploma, it was just a once a month affair with only one paper.

And also maybe because in secondary school, i didn't even bother.

It feels good to bother and put in some effort though.

Being able to walk out of the examination room after the paper feeling that the chances of passing is there and knowing that you have put in all you could to prepare for it, really feels satisfying.

I know i've already said this, but thank you so much Jon, for taking the time out to tutor me.

You don't know how appreciative i felt after my exam.

Despite me not ruling out the chances of a supp paper not only for maths but every subject, i walked out yesterday actually feeling good that i could solve those sums that i solved.

I have to be honest, i thought of getting you a card and a small gift, but you know how the situation is like now.

I hope you'll settle for this short blog post :)

Thank you, for tolerating and being patient with me during the times i was so stressed and tired out because of school related and other issues.

If you hadn't been this supportive and understanding, i think i would have collapsed under the pressure i was going through.

Instead, you kept me afloat and also lifted me up during the times i nearly drowned in the sea of despair.

i am nervous.

Yea, mostly about my exams.

I think i'm pretty much prepared for it.

Just that the idea of the exam itself is making me nervous.

You know after the past 4 months of studying, i can totally emphatize with Jon when he told me before that he just wants to quickly graduate and stop studying.

When i think of just the next 4 months, the final semester of my foundation program, i'm getting sick of it as well.

Its not only the daily routine of school or the assignments or revisions, its also about 1 or 2 assholes in school that 'SPICE' up the whole studying experience, if i may call this an experience.

I have potentially another 3 and a half years with some assholes.

Time for bed.

Paper's at 2pm later.

Gona meet up with a couple of my classmates for lunch 1st.

Hope lunch doesn't come up the same way it went in.

I can't get to sleep with this restlessness and anxiety i'm feeling.

Having a slight cold doesn't help either.

I realized that i applied for leave of absence in my letter only for yesterday.

Whatever it is, i'm not going to school.

Not in this state.

Penang was gooood.

First time there without family.

First time there with my girlfriend.

It was fucking hot though, and the room was rather cold.

Kinda explains the cold i'm having.

I think i haven't enjoyed myself this much since school started.

Thank you for all of you.

This will be one of the first morbid posts after many months.

Its the start of my 3rd week at school.

I can't say it has been slow moving but i can't say it sped by either.

Its been quite stressful for me since like one week before the start of school.

Thinking how will i do, having to adapt to a whole new lifestyle of full time studies and balancing my priorities.

School syllabus hasn't been a breeze for me.

I was arrogant and silly to think it would be before term started.

I'm having 5 modules this semester.

Maths, English, Geography, Communications Across Culture and Econs.

English, Communications and Econs are manageable.

Maths and Geog are killing me, both mind and spirit.

I go into these 2 lectures struggling to keep up with what's being taught in lectures, i struggle with tutorials and i fear for my exams.

I dare say, the starting of this new school term is the only time i regretted not paying attention in Secondary school.

Regret aside, i'm just trying to do what i can to understand and grasp the subjects better.

Its only very frustrating that after a day of school and reaching home at 4.30, i am more often than not dead tired for any productive revision.

I just came home from downstairs hoping to be able to complete my geog revision but couldn't do it. This experience of revising and writing notes but still not able to absorb anything is so fucking fucked up.

Anyhow, i thank God for giving me the classmates i have now in school. It would be so much worse if they were as fucked up as my mind is now.

Thoughts of giving up psychology and changing to a new course altogether has crossed my mind several times.

I wouldn't go as far to say that being a psychologist is my only purpose.

This is my dream, my aspiration though.

How often do dreams and aspirations come true?

For all of humanities sake and mine, i hope they more often than not, do.

2009 has been a year of growth, accomplishments and of course struggles peppered here and there.

Making new good friends, maintaining old friendships and knowing what i want and don't want in a relationship has made this year a year of learning and of self discovery.

Hm, i really don't know what to say, i'm still in a daze having just woke up not long ago.

So, we had an activity where everyone had mailboxes and we can write letters to anyone in the retreat.

After the last session for Saturday ended, i was in my room writing my letters and my friend called me and said -

"Dom! You must write letter to Rocky leh!"

My INSTANT reply was -

"YOU SIAO AH? WRITE LETTER TO ROCKY?"

And after confirming the time for supper, we hung up and i went downstairs to the hall where they all were.

Another friend of mine was leaning against the wall and looking sneaky but i didn't notice anything amiss.
But, when she stepped forward from the wall, there it was. The envelope with Rocky's name.
I couldn't help myself but LOL.

I tell you, these people hardly ever fail to bring laughter to me.
You people have really been an awesome bunch and i sincerely apologize for scolding you all siao.

Rocky had 9 letters. NINE.
The content ranged from asking Rocky if he was male or gay to wishing him a speedy recovery.
I was fucking touched and of course, had a damm good laugh with my uncle when i read them out to him with Rocky just beside us on the floor.

Came out of the retreat getting more than i was expecting for.

I am able to see myself serving in the Choice community in the future.
Great people, great sessions, great fun and as always at Choice sessions, great food.

So..

Half of my sunday was spent sleeping..

Woke up at 5pm..

Because..

I nearly got myself a tattoo on my ankle yesterday evening. I was so damn serious about it in the afternoon that i was going to call Jap and arrange for an appointment there and then.

Decided to give sam a call and ask for his opinion.

After talking to him though, i was still rather set on getting it but not so much than before.
